The Alabama Arthritis Control Program was established in 1999. This program operates within the Alabama Department of Public Health. It mission is to advance the health of Alabamians by improving the quality of life for those persons with arthritis.

To delineate unlawful conduct through disciplinary procedures against practitioners who violate applicable laws or rules.
